About the service
Circle of Security is a relationship-based programme for parents of babies and younger children to enhance the bond and sense of security for both parents and your children.
The sessions give you space to make sense of your child’s needs and behaviours and think about how you can support your child when they are younger. This support will help them throughout their life.
By growing an understanding of your own and your child’s needs, you can build on your relationship with your child, creating lasting security.

What is covered
- How your child learns to be connected or attached to you.
- How you can understand your child’s needs and behaviour so that you can enjoy a stronger relationship with them, where you both feel happier.
- Making sense of what your child is asking from you – understanding children, their behaviour and emotional development.
- Understanding parenting influences.
- Helping children to feel safe in their world.
- Identifying and enhancing parenting strengths.
