Workforce Development coordinate and commission training courses for Early Help and Children’s Services staff, as well as teams funded through the Families First grant. Training is aimed at staff working directly with children, young people and families. in an early intervention & social care role.
The training on offer includes sessions on raising awareness and managing issues and situations that professionals will face, as well as courses around how professionals engage with the families and individuals that they work with.
By taking an inclusive and multi-agency approach to our training, it ensures the local authority is meeting the expectations of the Families First programme.
