About the programme

Family life can be challenging for children, young people and parents. This programme supports families with children aged 7 to 17 to strengthen their bonds and support children and young people as they transition into responsible teens and adults.

Practical information

The sessions are delivered in-person in a group with other families, or we can come to your family home and work with your family individually.

Parents, step-parents and carers are all invited to the sessions.

If you attend a group session, we will provide refreshments. These sessions are normally carried out in the evening.

Each session is divided into 2 parts:

  • In the first part, parents and carers will have discussion time whilst the children and young people engage in activities.
  • In the second part, everyone comes together for family time. These activities are designed to strengthen bonds and encourage communication.

There is a creche for younger children. This is run by qualified staff.

Fully trained practitioners run the sessions.
