Note: All participants are expected to already know everything in Groups A and B.

Aim: This 2-day advanced level course aims to ensure participants are able to make decisions and advise others about keeping children safe, and to put protection processes in place, including participation in Strategy meetings, S47 Enquiries, and child Protection Conferences.

Key Learning Objectives:

• I understand that giving people voice and control is an essential part of decision making – child -centred practice
• I understand everyone’s roles and responsibilities in the safeguarding process
• I have the ability to make clear and proportionate decisions.
