Note: All participants are expected to already know everything in Group A.

You will be expected to have your camera on at all times and be able to use your microphone – if this is not possible you will not be able to attend the course.

Aim: The aim of this 1-day (2 x 3hr sessions), intermediate level course is to ensure participants know what to look for and have a clear knowledge of the reporting process and their own responsibilities. The course focuses on your role and responsibilities in safeguarding, recognising risk, working in a child-centred way, and practical guidance on completing a Safeguarding Children Report/Referral.

• I am a key part of the safeguarding process
• I know when, how and who to report to
• I will make sure the child’s voice is heard.
