About the course

Focussing on your own wellbeing, this course will look at different types of stress in working in childcare and what resilience is, and then help you build a practical action plan to increase your resilience to those stresses and look after your own wellbeing.

The word “Resilience” is being used a lot these days… but what does it actually mean, and how do you develop it?

• Understand what resilience is and why it matters
• Understand different types of stress
• Be able to recognise your signs of stress
• Be able to identify your own risk factors and protective factors
• Be able to develop strategies for building resilience
Create a practical plan for yourself.
